About Bruce
Bruce Fein is a "retired" ad man and creative guru. He owned and operated his own ad agency in Northern California for 15 years before taking early retirement. His background is in creating unique ways of writing and delivering his clients' advertising messages and it has served him well.
"It has always fascinated me how people can misinterpret even the simplest words and phrases. I have made it my mission to adhere to the 'keep it simple' philosophy in both my personal and professional life". He started on this path soon after he saw a performance by the comedian George Carlin. Carlin talked about how we mistake the meaning of words like: Jumbo Shrimp and Military Intelligence. People tend to laugh at the improbability of these kinds of words.
"Retirement isn't for me" Bruce says, "there is still so much more to do". Currently he does independent consulting in advertising, marketing and copywriting at The World According To Bruce.
He is a world class Master cribbage player and an inveterate collector of "stuff". He collects wine, limited edition crystal figurines, used wine corks and God knows what else.
Bruce is a marketing specialist and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University.
He is happily married to 2 wives. His beautiful wife Ginger and his loving dog Bingo.
